Padmashree Dr.D.Y. Patil Medical College, [PDDPMC] Pune, is one of the most renowned medical colleges in the state of Maharastra established in 1996. It is the first private college in Maharastra recognized by the Medical Council of India [MCI] and has recognition from the University Grant Commission [UGC], DCI, Ministry of Human Resource Department [MHRD], and the Govt. of India.

The main goal of this institute is to train students to achieve all-round development. It has a fully functional hospital with modernly equipped laboratories for better learning of the students.
