Palamuru University

Palamuru University Mahabubnagar has been established in the year 2008 as a State University by statutory enactment to cater to the growing requirements of Higher Education of the region in general and of Mahabubnagar district in particular. Prior to this, the University was formally launched by the G O.Ms. No 99. Higher Education (U E.Il).

At present 155 affiliated colleges offering diverse programmes of study - UG, PG and Professional, with student strength of nearly 60,000 constitute the academic landscape of Palamuru University. Palamuru University is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) and has been accredited with 'B' grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Palamuru University admission 2024 offers various courses at the UG and PG levels. The University offers M.Sc, MA, M.Com, M.Pharm, MSW, M.Ed & MBA at the Postgraduate level. It offers B.Pharmacy at the Undergraduate level. Palamuru University's selection process for PG courses is OUPGCET Test. Admission to MBA is on the basis of the TSICET entrance exam. UG Admission Eligibility Criteria

• For the B.Pharm course admission, the candidates must have passed their 10+2 examinations from recognized boards and in a relevant subject.

PG Admission Eligibility Criteria

• For the admission of the candidates to the M.Pharm degree course, the applicant must be graduated from any recognized university in the B.Pharm course.
• For the M.Sc, MA, M.Com, MBA and MSW degree course admission of the admission seeking candidates, the eligibility states that the applicant must be a graduate in the relevant subject.
• For admission to the M.Ed course, the candidates must have obtained 50% marks or an equivalent grade in the B.Ed, BA. B.Ed, B.Sc. B.Ed, B.El.Ed, D.El.Ed with 50% marks in aggregate. 

PhD Admission Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must have obtained a Postgraduate Degree, from a recognized University in the concerned subject or in an allied subject approved by the University securing not less than 55% marks at the Post Graduate Degree and securing not less than 50% marks in the case of SC/ST candidates.

Palamuru University cut off 2021 has been released.  It offers various courses like MSc, MBA, MCom, MEd, MA, MSc, MSW and PhD for UG and PG admissions. The students who are searching for admission to the institute are required to meet the cut off criteria of the university and also need to secure valid scores in TSICET for MBA; TS EAMCET for B.pharma.
