PGIMS Rohtak was established in 1960. The Pt Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences is an institute of medical sciences, hospitals, teaching, and education. The PGIMS admissions are based on the scores from the entrance test conducted by the university.  The university accepts qualifying exams like NEET UG, NEET-PG and NEET MDS.
