Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University (RPCAU), located in Pusa, Samastipur, Bihar, is a prestigious institution committed to agricultural education, research, and extension services. Initially established in 1970 by the Government of Bihar, it was upgraded to a Central University in 2016.

The roots of the university go back to 1905 with the establishment of the Agricultural Research Institute and College in Pusa, which played a pioneering role in structured agricultural education in India.
