Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College

Vivekananda College was established in the year 1946. Swami Kailashanandaji Maharaj who then was the president of the Rama Krishna mutt inaugurated the college. Dr Radha Krishnan who was the president at that time and officially inaugurated the college in July !st 1946 for propagating quality education.

Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College had only 33 students and 290 faculty members. It was started with the prime motive of providing students with an idea of character building and man building.  It was established with the main aim of spreading secular knowledge and spiritual knowledge to their students.

Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College have both day and evening college. The day college offers both UG and PG courses in the field of Arts, Science and Commerce. The evening college provides both UG and PG courses in the fields of Commerce and Science.

Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Admission is done on merit basis and the eligibility criteria are given by the University of Madras. The whole admission process is controlled by the admission commission every year.
