Sanjay Ghodawat University (SGU) is a state‑private university located in Atigre, Hatkanangale taluka, Kolhapur district, Maharashtra as a natural evolution of the Sanjay Ghodawat Group of Institutions (founded in 2009), SGU is recognized by UGC and holds prestigious ‘A’ grades from NAAC and NBA. It is approved by AICTE, COA, PCI, and MSBTE.

SGU offers more than 59 programs across UG, PG, and PhD levels in Engineering (including AI & ML, Aeronautical, Civil, Electronics, Computer Science), Pharmacy, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Management, Liberal Arts, and Computer Applications.
