Eligibility

Candidates who have passed or are appearing for their (10+2) or equivalent exams from any recognized Central/State Board, such as CBSE or CISCE, during the current academic year, are eligible to apply.

OR

Candidates who have completed or are appearing for any recognized Public School, Board, or University Examination in India or abroad, equivalent to the 10+2 system and approved by the AIU (Association of Indian Universities), New Delhi, are eligible to apply.

OR

Candidates who have passed the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) with a minimum of five subjects are eligible to apply.

Postgraduate Diploma in Fashion Design (2 years)

Eligibility: Candidates who have completed or are appearing for a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Indian university in any discipline, or a Bachelor's degree from a foreign university approved by the AIU (Association of Indian Universities), New Delhi, during the academic year 2024-25, are eligible to apply.

Satyam Fashion Institute Placements

Satyam Fashion Institute associates with the industry in multiple ways:

• Internships: Two months of on-job- training after the completion of the 6th semester in the B.Design program and the 2nd semester in PG programs.
• Graduation Projects: Four months of on-site industry projects to be done in the case of B. Des. LA programs in the 8th semester.
• Graduation Collections: Industry-sponsored range development by the students of B. Des. FD, TD and P.G. FD in the 8th semester.
• Placements: Campus placement takes place in the 8th semester of each program using a campus placement drive as well as off-campus interviews (if required).

Satyam Fashion Institute Scholarships

Following scholarship categories (up to 10% on first year fee) are available to the students of B. Design & PG Diploma Courses:

• Merit Scholarship – candidates should have 80% and above in the qualifying exam.
• Sister Concession – applied if 2 real sisters are studying, then either of the two would get the concession.
• Satyam Staff – daughter/ real sister of the Satyam staff.
• Defence/ Army/ Paramilitary/ Indian Navy/ Police personnel’s ward.
• Doctors in Government hospitals/Paramedical staff of Government hospitals’ wards.

Special seats for physically challenged candidates (only with locomotor disability) or differently abled - Limited to a maximum of 5 seats in the given academic year
