Standard Fireworks Rajaratnam College For Women or SFR College for Women, Sivaganga was established in 1968. It was established in memory of the late philanthropist Thiru N.R.K.Rajaratnam. Thiru Rajaratnam's matchless genius and tireless energy gave rise to the Standard Group of Industries.

The late Thiru K.A.A.Sankaralingam Nadar, Thiru K.A.A.Arunachalam Nadar, and Thiru C. Chelladurai Nadar were the founder architects and stalwarts of SFR College for Women. They chalked out a program for the dawn of higher education and upliftment of rural women in and around Sivakasi.

It was their vision to liberate rural women from their socio, economic, and cultural constraints by intellectually equipping them to face the challenges of everyday life. SFR College for Women offers courses like  BBA, BCA, B.Com, BA, and B.Sc at the UG level and MA, M.Sc, and M.Com at the PG level. Various Diploma, PG Diploma, and Certificate courses are also offered.

SFR College Eligibility Criteria:

SFR College for Women, Sivaganga courses has the following minimum eligibility for students in order to submit an application. 

SFR College Admission Procedure:

For UG Courses candidates can register online and apply after the declaration of 12th Standard Results. For PG Courses candidates can apply with the Mark Statements of 5 Semesters.

1. The candidate has to fill the application form only in online mode at the official college website.
2. The candidates can go for basic registration by clicking New registration, select the course, and enter relevant details.
3. Candidates can log in using the credentials generated.
4. Upload scanned copy of the photograph in JPG/JPEG format of 50KB size and scanned copies of mark sheets and certificates of 200 KB.
5. Fill in the required personal and academic details.
6. Selected candidates will be notified by the college. Selected candidates will have to pay the application fees to lock their seats which are non-refundable.
7. Admission is subjected to verification of Degree by the Director of Government Examinations.
8. The original certificates have to be submitted to the college and will be returned after the completion of the course.
