SHUATS was established in 1910. The base stone of SHUATS was laid by Dr. Sam Higginbottom. The institute is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Admissions for 2024 are ongoing. Admissions to courses like B.Sc, B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, MBA, M.Sc, etc., are based on the All India Entrance Test and SHUATS entrance examination.

Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture Technology and Science, Allahabad students in 42 undergraduate programs, 101 postgraduate programs, 16 diploma programs, and doctoral programs associated with numerous disciplines. SHUATS is established and administered by the Ecumenical Minority Christian Society, namely the Sam Higginbottom Educational and Charitable Society registered under the Society Registration Act, 1860, in the State of Uttar Pradesh. The University is a united endeavor of the Christian community in India to promote rural life and development in conformity with the Christian vision of humankind and creation.

SHUATS Admission

SHUATS admission 2024 is ongoing. It has released the UG and PG programs applications on the university's website. Admission to numerous undergraduate and postgraduate programs like B.Sc, B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, MBA, M.Sc, etc. will be granted thru the All India Entrance Test strictly on the premise of merit for programs and thru College Level Test/ Open Online Counseling. A common online application form will apply to all educational programs. However, there are a few programs for which admission will take place thru direct interviews, which will be held on a scheduled date accompanied by registration and admission through depositing the fees on the same day. 

SHUATS Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant should have completed class 12th with at least 45% aggregate marks.

• Candidate must pass the SHUATS entrance test.
