Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), located in Katra, Jammu & Kashmir, is a UGC-recognized state university established in 1999. Admissions 2025

SMVDU's admission process for the academic year 2025-26 is currently underway. Prospective students can apply online through the official portal. The university accepts scores from various national-level entrance examinations:

• Undergraduate Programs: CUET UG, JEE Main, NATA, UCEED

• Postgraduate Programs: CAT, MAT, CMAT, GATE, CUET PG

• Ph.D. Programs: UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, GATE, SLET

Application deadlines vary by program, with most UG applications closing by June 30, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate Programs:

• B.Tech: Minimum 60% in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

• B.Arch: Minimum 50% in 10+2 with PCM; valid NATA or JEE Main Paper II score.

• B.Des: 10+2 in any stream; UCEED or SMVDU entrance exam score.

• BBA/B.Sc/BA: 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

Postgraduate Programs:

• MBA: Bachelor’s degree with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST); valid CAT/MAT/CMAT/CUET PG score.

• M.Tech: B.E./B.Tech in relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks; GATE or SMVDU entrance exam.

• M.Sc/MA: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with minimum 50% marks.

Ph.D. Programs:

• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA; valid UGC-NET/CSIR-NET/GATE/SLET score or SMVDU entrance exam.
