Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women's University, [SNDTWU] Mumbai was established in 1916. University is the first Women’s university in India as well as in South-East Asia. SNDT Women's University stands 32nd amongst multi-disciplinary universities of India and ranked fourth in Western India according to the Week-Hansa Research ranking of 2020.

SNDT women's university Admission

Eligibility Criteria of SNDT women's university 

Eligibility Criteria for BA Admission

  • The candidate should have completed their secondary education [10+2] in a relevant stream.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Com Admission

  • The candidate should have completed their graduation in a relevant stream from a recognized college with an aggregate of at least 50%.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Ed Admission

  • The minimum qualification required for entry into B. Ed course is a Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from a recognized board/university with at least 50% marks.

  • Students need to appear in an entrance test conducted by the various state and Independent educational bodies and universities for admission. The results must be attached with it according to the rank of the candidate in the entrance exam.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc Admission

  • The admission to the B.Sc courses is based on Class 12th percentage which is generally 50-55%. Some universities also conduct their entrance exam for admission.

Eligibility Criteria for BLIS Admission

  • Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university board.

  • Candidates should also secure a minimum of 50-55% in the last qualifying degree to get admission for this course.

Eligibility Criteria for LLB Admission

  • The basic LLB course eligibility criteria for candidates is that they should have completed graduation from any stream.

  • Also, a minimum criterion of 50-55% is required to qualify.

  • Admissions are done either based on marks in a qualifying degree or through some entrance test like the CLAT exam.

Eligibility Criteria for BMS Admission

  • The aspirant has to pass their 10+2 or any other equivalent qualification with a minimum of 50% marks is the BMS course eligibility.

  • The aspirants have to clear the Entrance Exams which are being conducted by the university by the admission procedure

Eligibility Criteria for MCA  Admission

  • Graduation in any stream is the basic MCA course eligibility. The eligibility for qualifying marks in graduation differs from institute to institute. Most of the institutes require 45 to 50% aggregate in the qualifying exam for taking admission. Reserved categories get some relaxation in aggregate percentage while considering MCA course eligibility.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Pharm Admission

  • Candidates who have passed the Bachelor of Pharmacy Programme with not less than 50% aggregate marks, of any recognized University or any other Institute equivalent thereto the University, are eligible for admission to the Master of Pharmacy Programmes.
  • For SC/ST candidates, the eligibility is a pass in the B.Pharm degree Programme.

Eligibility Criteria for PhD Admission

  • The Candidate should have completed their Post Graduation in a relevant stream from a recognized university.
  • The candidate should have an eligible scorecard from their PET exam.
