Auditorium

A well lit and built auditorium having a seating capacity of 750 has been dedicated to the students. This centralized Air conditioned hall has well balanced acoustic engineered designs using sophisticated sound equipment.

Central Library

The Central Library with excellent state of art infrastructure having unique resource collection which is international in scope. The SMVEC Central Library is on its way to becoming an outstanding learning resource centre catering to the ever growing and uncompromising information and intellectual requirements of the students, faculty, and researchers.

The SMVEC Central Library strives for a high quality of library service, which emphasizes the actual delivery of information rather than the actual delivery of documents to meet the generic as well as specific needs of users. It has computerized all its housekeeping activities using Library software that is being maintained and updated regularly, which is connected to campus wide network. This enables users in searching and availing the library resources. It uses the state-of-the-art technology in its functioning and services.

The hostel is facilitated with the modern facilities providing separate hostels for both men and women. The block is highly conducive for academic pursuits in peaceful living. 24x7 power and Wi-Fi facility are available along with reading halls and recreation rooms with dailies, sports and technical magazines. The students are also provided with well-furnished canteens and spacious dining halls. The kitchen is fitted with ultra-modern equipment.

Transport

Effective transport facility covering every nook and corner of Puducherry, Kanagachettikulam, Cuddalore, Villupuram, Neyveli, Tindivanam.

Because of the best Transport service - More than 80% of our students are availing this facility.

Post Office

There is a Post office located in house at SMVEC. It is the centre of all postal activity in the locality. The facilties are (i) selling stamps and envelopes (ii) sending registered/speed post/parcel and (iii) other administrative duties related to postal communication.

Canteen

The college is equipped with a fully functional vegetarian and non-vegetarian canteen to serve hygienically prepared food to the staff and students. A subsidized mess is also operative in the campus. A separate mess for boys has been provided.

Hostel

Hostel accommodation is available for boys and girls separately. Each hostel is assigned with a warden who acts as the friend, philosopher and guide to the hostel inmates. The warden maintains strict discipline and hygiene in the hostel.

ATM

Axis Bank ATM facility is available inside the campus for the benefit of students, staff and public.
