

Srikishan Sarda College (SS College), founded on September 18, 1950, is the oldest higher education institution in Hailakandi district, Assam. Initially affiliated with Gauhati University, it became part of Assam University, Silchar, in 1994. Recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under sections 2(f) and 12(b) of the UGC Act, 1956, the college has consistently strived to provide quality education to students from Hailakandi and neighboring regions.
