About UPL University of Sustainable Technology
Established in 2011 under the Gujarat Private University Act 2009 (amended by Gujarat Act No.15 of 2021), UPL University of Sustainable Technology is Gujarat’s first university dedicated to sustainable technology. Founded by the Ankleshwar Rotary Education Society (ARES), it began with the Shroff S. R. Rotary Institute of Chemical Technology (SRICT) and has since expanded to include the SRICT Institute of Science & Research and the Centre of Excellence in Process Safety.
Located on a 25-acre campus in Ankleshwar, Bharuch, Gujarat, the university provides modern infrastructure including laboratories, workshops, libraries, a canteen, gym, ATM, transport, and separate hostels for boys and girls.
