The University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM) is a leading private university established in 2011 under the UGC Act and located near Guwahati, Assam–Meghalaya border. Recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), and accredited with an A Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), USTM has grown into a hub of multidisciplinary education and research. It is the first private university in the northeast region to receive NAAC A Grade in its first cycle.
