It is a leading institution in the field of veterinary and animal science and is known for its quality, education, and research on various aspects of animal health and development, including disease detection, providing scientific information, and experience in advisory and extension services.

DUVASUBV.Sc & A.H. Program

The Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) is a medical undergraduate degree course that deals with the health and well-being of animals. The length of the course is 5 and 1/2 years, with the last 6 months being mandatory internship tenure. BVSc also referred to as BVSc and A.H. and its full form is Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry. All kinds of pet animals are treated by veterinary physicians for their healthy living. The major part of their work also requires performing surgery in cases where internal parts of animals and birds are injured. Some of the BVSc course job profiles are Veterinary Doctor, Veterinary Research Scientist, Animal Breeders, etc.

M.Sc. Biotechnology or Master of Science in Biotechnology is a postgraduate Biotechnology course with a duration of 2 years divided into 4 semesters.
