OJEE 2026 has defined eligibility criteria for different courses offered through this state level entrance examination in Odisha, mainly for admission to engineering, pharmacy, management, and other professional programs. Applicants are required to fulfill nationality, educational qualification, and minimum marks conditions, which differ depending on the course. There is no age restriction for most categories.

OJEE 2026 Eligibilty Criteria: General Requirements

  • Candidates must be Indian nationals to apply for OJEE 2026

  • There is no minimum or maximum age limit for any course

  • Candidates with Odisha domicile are eligible for reservation benefits

  • Non-domicile candidates can also apply under specific quota categories.

B.Tech and B.Tech (Lateral Entry) Eligibility

  • For B.Tech, candidates must pass 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects

  • One additional subject is required from Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a Technical Vocational subject

  • A minimum of 45 percent marks is required for general category candidates and 40 percent for reserved categories

  • For B.Tech Lateral Entry, candidates must have a 3 year diploma in Engineering or Technology with at least 45 percent marks, or 40 percent for reserved categories

  • Alternatively, candidates with a B.Sc. degree and Mathematics at the 10+2 level are eligible with a minimum of 45 percent marks, or 40 percent for reserved categories

B.Pharm, BAMS, and BHMS Eligibility Criteria

  • B.Pharm applicants must pass 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects

  • Mathematics or Biology must be included as an additional subject

  • Candidates must secure at least 45 percent aggregate marks, or 40 percent for reserved categories

  • BAMS and BHMS candidates must pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology

  • A minimum of 50 percent marks combined in these subjects is required

  • There is no age limit for BAMS and BHMS admissions

MBA and MCA Eligibility

  • MBA candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree of at least 3 years duration in any discipline

  • A minimum of 50 percent marks is required, or 45 percent for reserved categories

  • MCA applicants must have a BCA or B.Sc. in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification with 50 percent marks, or 45 percent for reserved categories

  • Candidates with any Bachelor’s degree are also eligible if they studied Mathematics at the 10+2 or graduation level.

OJEE 2026 Eligibilty Criteria: Other PG Courses

  • M.Tech: Candidates must hold a B.E. or B.Tech or an equivalent degree in a relevant discipline with at least 60% marks. Reserved category candidates require 55% marks. A valid GATE score is often given preference.

  • M.Pharm: Applicants should have a B.Pharm degree with a minimum of 55% marks. Reserved category candidates need 50% marks.

  • Hotel Management (BHMCT): Admission requires passing 10+2 in any stream with at least 45% marks. Reserved category candidates need 40% marks.

OJEE 2026 Eligibilty Criteria: Reservations and Relaxations

  • Reserved category candidates such as SC and ST are eligible for a marks relaxation of 5 to 10 percent, as applicable.

  • Odisha state domicile candidates are eligible for state quota seat reservations.

  • Physically challenged candidates are provided specific reservation quotas, subject to fulfilling the prescribed eligibility criteria.
