All candidates can download their seat allotment letters by logging into their account with the roll number, password, and security pin. Bengal College of Engineering and Technology is a well-known institute at its infrastructure, which includes modern facilities as mentioned below:

Central Stores:

  • BCET infrastructure facilities include a central store that provides all the stationery products required by the students.

ME CE Block:

  • The Mechanical & Civil Engineering departments are housed in a separate block known as the ME & CE Block.
  • It is a four-storied building having all the classes and laboratories of the Mechanical and Civil departments. The building also houses the faculty and the tutorial rooms.

EEE Block:

  • The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is housed in this building has all the necessary equipment and infrastructure for learning.

EE Block:

  • There is a separate building for imparting degree course in Electrical Engineering. This building houses the classrooms and the faculty room. The laboratories for conducting the practical classes are also housed in this building having all the electrical equipment as per the university curriculum.

Core Block:

Homi J Bhabha Boys Hostel:

Bengal College of Engineering and Technology Eligibility Criteria:

Bengal College of Engineering and Technology offers admission to the students that are willing to be part of the institute. The students must clear all the qualifications tabulated below. Bengal College of Engineering Cutoff is essential for one who is going through the process of admission.

  • Admissions are made on the basis of merit through the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEE) or Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) conducted by CBSE Board.

  • Pass in Higher Secondary examination (10+2) or equivalent with at least 45% marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics took together (40% for SC/ST candidates) with individual pass marks in each of those subjects and pass marks (30%) in English.Others conditions as per State Govt. notification.

B.Tech (Lateral Entry)
  • Admissions through Lateral Entry for Diploma Holders in the 2nd year (Third Semester) level of the B.Tech Programme is limited to a maximum 20% of the sanctioned intake in each discipline. Such seats are filled from JELET examination qualifiers. Other conditions as per State Govt. notification.
  • Diploma holders have to pass Diploma examination from an AICTE approved institution with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category) and B.Sc. Degree holders have to pass B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC with at least 50% marks and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject.
BBA
  • Passed in Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination and at least 30% marks in English.
BCA
  • Passed in Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination with Maths/Business Maths/ Statistics/ Computer Science as one of the subjects and at least 30% marks in English.
MBA
  • Admissions are made through MAT (conducted by AIMA, New Delhi) or WB-JEMAT (conducted by the MAKAUT, Kolkata) qualifiers. Selections are made on the basis of academic performance plus score obtained at MAT or WB-JEMAT examination. Final year candidates who have appeared for the above examination and awaiting their graduation results can also apply. However, such candidates have to produce their mark sheets and relevant documents at the time of admission to the institute.

  • Graduation in any discipline under (10+2+3) with at least 45 % marks.
