Bhavan's Vivekananda College of Science, Humanities and Commerce (BVCSHC)

Bhavan's Vivekananda College of Science, Humanities and Commerce (BVCSHC), located in Secunderabad, Telangana, was established in 1993 under the aegis of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. It is affiliated with Osmania University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college has been accredited with an 'A' grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Academic Programs

BVCSHC offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across various disciplines:

• Undergraduate Courses: BA, BBA, BCA, BSc, BCom, and BCom (Hons), with specializations in Mass Communication, Political Science, Economics, Computer Applications, Business Analytics, and Data Science.

• Postgraduate Courses: MSc in Computer Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry; MBA with specializations in Marketing, Finance, HR, and Systems; and MCom.

BVCSHC is also part of the Cluster College Programme initiated by the Telangana State Council for Higher Education, promoting resource sharing and collaborative development among autonomous colleges.

Student Support and Placements

The Career Guidance and Placement Cell (CGPC), set up in 2004, plays a proactive role in student development by organizing workshops on soft skills, interview techniques, and behavioral training. The college has a strong placement record, with an average package of around INR 2.84 lakhs per annum.

Scholarships are offered to meritorious and deserving students, including "Merit cum Means Scholarships" and special awards for excellence in academics, NCC, and sports.
