Birsa Institute of Technology - BIT Sindri

Admissions are based on the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE). Candidates must appear for JEE Main and participate in JCECEB counseling.

BIT Sindri offers B.Tech programs in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Metallurgical, Mining, and Production Engineering.

The total intake is approximately 680 students across all B.Tech disciplines.

Diploma holders can apply for lateral entry into the 3rd semester through a separate competitive examination conducted by JCECEB.

Candidates must have a B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) and a valid GATE score.
