Hostel

• BIT Mesra Ranchi infrastructure boasts residential facilities that house 2000 teaching and staff employees and 3200 graduate and postgraduate students.
• It hasthree separate hostels for girlsand eleven hostels for boys, making it entirely residential.
• The BIT Mesra hostel rooms are well-lit and ventilated, surrounded by lush greenery.
• While girls share accommodations in large, comfortably equipped rooms, each male student gets a single occupancy furnished room.
• Eachroom is built in a row, with a large veranda for communal use running the entire length of the hallway. 
• There aredining rooms and common areas with space for many indoor games at the hostel.

Gym:BIT Mesra has a well-equipped gym, indoor game areas, and sizable playgrounds for participating in a variety of outdoor activities.

Library

• BIT Mesra Library collection includes hybrid (print and electronic) resources in the fields of engineering, management, pharmacy, and hotel and restaurant management.
• It also features a separateinternet section made up of a number of networked terminals.
• The BIT Mesra library is automated with RFID technology utilising the open source programme "KOHA"and other services, like CD-ROM database search, OPAC, and Web-based OPAC.
• 150423 Volumes, 4897 titles, 129 print journals, 11 magazines, 13 newspapers, 3200 CDs / DVDs, and 18512 bound volumes are housed in the BIT Mesra Library. 

Auditorium

• BIT Mesra campus has two auditoriumswith a combined capacity of 2,500 people. 
• The student community uses it to conduct cultural events.

Canteen

• There aretwo BIT Mesra canteensand multiple food establishments on campus.
• All the restaurants are popular gathering places as young people tend to hang out in groups. 

Guest House:BIT Mesra infrastructure has three guest houses for guests visiting the campus. The guest houses are categorised into three types.

• Institutional guestfor many academic and other institutionalobjectives.
• Guest or individualvisiting the institute for aproject, consulting work, short-term courses, a conference,etc.
• Accommodations are provided to employees, student parents/guardians, and alumni/guests from other academic institutions on a reciprocal basis.

Medical Facilities

• BIT Mesra infrastructure features a dispensary that offers diagnostic, preventive, and curative therapies.
• Emergency cases that need intensive care facilities' more specialised attention are either referred to the nearby Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, Ranchi or Apollo Hospital Erba, in Ranchi.
• In the event of an emergency, adoctor from the BIT Mesra campus health centre goes with the patient.
• The institute keeps in touch with the medical staff at these two hospitals. 
• Residents of nearby villages receive free medical care and medication from the campus dispensary/health centre.
• The health centre hasfour ambulances available during each of the three shifts and is equipped withfirst aid supplies and oxygen cylinders.

Banking and ATM
