Bordoloni Central College

Established in 1997, Bordoloni Central College (BCC) is a rural-based higher educational institution located near Bordoloni Chariali in Dhemaji District, Assam. The college was founded with the mission to provide accessible higher education to students from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds in the Bordoloni Mouza area. Over the years, BCC has emerged as a center of academic excellence and cultural development in the region.

Academic Programs

BCC offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate programs under the Arts stream. The college is affiliated with Dibrugarh University and provides both Degree and Higher Secondary (HS) level courses. The Arts faculty includes 13 major courses and 15 core subjects, covering disciplines such as Assamese, English, Hindi, Education, History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, Philosophy, Anthropology, and Bodo. The college has also proposed to introduce the Science stream at the Higher Secondary level from the upcoming academic session.
