Calicut University is situated at Thenhipalamand and is known for its excellent academic and administrative infrastructure. The campus has an extensive area of 10 hectare. (25.17 acres). Library: The Calicut University library has a reference collection that contains encyclopedias, handbooks, multilingual dictionaries, theses, and dissertations. It also has the previous year's question papers from the university's examination and syllabi for courses offered by the university. A list of new books added to the library collection is published regularly and distributed to all of the university's teaching departments. All Calicut University library members have access to a book lending service. At any given moment, a member is entitled to three books. A book is issued for thirty days and can be renewed for another two terms if no one has reserved it. As a result, a member can retain a book for up to three months. 

Hostel: Calicut University hostel offers accommodation to both men and women. The rooms are allotted as per the availability and administration policies. In addition, the campus also includes private lodging facilities for students and parents. 

Sports Facilities: Calicut University provides playgrounds and a well-equipped gymnasium. The department of physical education of the university handles the graduates and post-graduates in physical education. In addition, the institute has designated areas for separate playgrounds inside the Institute campus itself.

Cafeteria: Calicut University campus serves the best food. The cafe is open from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm on all weekdays, including Saturdays and Sundays. It provides a wide variety of South Indian and North Indian dishes. The canteen is well known for its best quality, hygienic, and delicious food at an affordable price.  

Transport: Calicut University provides transportation facilities to students. About 95% of college students, mainly day scholars, use the facility for daily transportation. The bus covers the whole of Calicut city, extending its transport to neighbouring cities like Ramanattukara, Feroke etc. 

Botanical Garden: The Calicut University Botanical Garden (CUBG) was founded in 1971 on the lush green panoramic, undulating, lateritic hummocky area of the Calicut University Campus and has grown into an excellent centre of biodiversity and ex situ conservation of tropical Indian flora and foreign species.

IT Infrastructure: The computer centre is the central hub for ICT-related services. The facility is uniquely positioned to assist the university with its ICT needs by deploying several FOSS-based e-Governance programmes.

Bank Facilities: The Calicut Univesity provides facilities to the students with the national bank on the campus along with the 7 atm centres. In addition, there is a Post and telegraph office with speed post facilities inside the University Campus.

Medical Facilities: The campus has a health care centre which provides medical care to the students. Medical officers, qualified nurses and para-medical staff look after the medical facilities.

Central Sophisticated Instrumentation Facility (CSIF): Calicut University has a Central Sophisticated Instrumentation Facility for materials characterisation, physical and chemical analysis, precision chemical analysis, and computational analysis. The centre is operated by competent faculty and trained technical specialists under the auspices of the University of Calicut. Apart from university researchers and faculties, students, researchers, and faculty from other academic, scientific, and industrial establishments can use the facilities.
