CIMS Bilaspur

Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS), located in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, is a government-run medical college established on October 10, 2001. The institute was initially affiliated with Guru Ghasidas University and later became affiliated with Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Sciences and Ayush University of Chhattisgarh. Recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC), CIMS offers undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.

Academic Programs

Undergraduate Program

• MBBS:
  The Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program has an annual intake of 180 students. The course duration is 5.5 years, including a one-year compulsory internship. Admission is based on NEET-UG scores.

Postgraduate Programs

• MD/MS:
  CIMS offers Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) programs in various specializations, including Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, Paediatrics, Ophthalmology, and Otorhinolaryngology (ENT). The total annual intake for postgraduate courses is 33 seats. Admission is based on NEET-PG scores.
