DCRUST Sonepat

Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology (DCRUST), established in 2006 through an Act of the Haryana Legislative Assembly, is a premier state university located in Murthal, Sonipat, Haryana. It was upgraded from the Chhotu Ram State College of Engineering, which was founded in 1986. The university is named after Sir Chhotu Ram, a prominent leader known for his contributions to rural development and education. Spanning 273 acres, DCRUST is situated on National Highway 44, approximately 50 km from Delhi and 8 km from Sonipat railway station. The campus is strategically located within Haryana's industrial corridor, extending from Kundli to Panipat.

Academic Programs

DCRUST offers a diverse range of programs across various disciplines:

• Undergraduate (UG): B.Tech in Computer Science, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics & Communication, Biotechnology; B.Arch; BBA; BCA; B.Sc; B.Voc.

• Postgraduate (PG): M.Tech in multiple specializations; MBA; M.Sc; M.Arch; M.Ed; M.Pharma; M.Sc (Integrated).

• Doctoral (Ph.D.): Research programs in Engineering, Sciences, Humanities, and Management.

Admissions are based on entrance exams such as JEE Main for B.Tech, NATA for B.Arch, and CAT/MAT for MBA programs. The university also offers a unique 5-year dual degree program combining MBA and BBA .
