

Dibrugarh University, located in Dibrugarh, Assam, India, is a renowned public state university established on July 1, 1965, under the Dibrugarh University Act, 1965. It is the second oldest university in Assam and North East India. The university is situated at Rajabheta, approximately 5 kilometers south of Dibrugarh town, and spans over 500 acres of rural campus.
The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU). It is also accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a 'B++' grade.
