Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India

Established in 1983, the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) is an autonomous, not-for-profit institution located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Founded with the support of premier financial institutions such as IDBI Bank, ICICI Ltd., IFCI Ltd., and the State Bank of India, EDII aims to foster entrepreneurship across India.

EDII envisions a nation where entrepreneurship is recognized as a viable and sustainable career choice. Its mission is to inspire, train, mentor, and network aspiring entrepreneurs, thereby contributing to economic growth and employment generation.

Academic Programs

EDII offers a range of academic programs designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary for entrepreneurial success:

• Fellow Program in Management (FPM): A four-year full-time doctoral program focusing on entrepreneurship and related fields.

• Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Business Entrepreneurship (PGDM-BE): A two-year AICTE-approved program that provides comprehensive training in business entrepreneurship.

• Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Development Studies (PGDM-DS): A two-year program focusing on development issues and the role of entrepreneurship in addressing them.

These programs are designed to nurture innovative thinkers and leaders who can contribute to the growth of sustainable enterprises .

Research and Policy Advocacy
