FIEM - Future Institute of Engineering and Management

Future Institute of Engineering and Management (FIEM), established in 2002 and located in Sonarpur, Kolkata, is affiliated with MAKAUT and approved by AICTE. The institute offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering, management, and computer applications, including B.Tech, BCA, BBA, MBA, and MCA. Admissions 2025

Admissions are open for 2025 and are conducted through online applications. Undergraduate admissions (B.Tech, BCA, BBA) require candidates to have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST). Entrance exams accepted include WBJEE and JEE Main. Some seats are available through direct or management quota. For postgraduate courses like MBA and MCA, candidates must have completed graduation with a minimum of 50%. Entrance exams include MAT, JEMAT for MBA and WB JECA for MCA.

FIEM has a proactive placement cell that conducts training, workshops, aptitude sessions, and interview preparation. For the 2023 batch, the college achieved a placement ratio of up to 137% with top recruiters offering multiple job roles. The median salary was approximately ₹4.35 LPA for B.Tech graduates and ₹3.50 LPA for MBA students.
