Established in 1994, the Government College of Engineering and Technology (GCET), Jammu, is a premier institution affiliated with the University of Jammu. Admissions 2025

B.Tech Programs:

  • Eligibility: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, securing at least 50% marks. Admission is primarily through the JKCET entrance exam conducted by the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE).

M.Tech Programs:

  • Eligibility: Applicants should possess a BE/B.Tech degree or an M.Sc in relevant fields with a minimum of 50% marks. A 5% relaxation is available for SC/ST candidates.

Lateral Entry Scheme:

  • Diploma holders can apply for direct admission into the 2nd year of B.Tech programs. An entrance test for lateral entry is scheduled for August 2024.
