Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), established in 1996 in Jammu, is a premier autonomous institution affiliated with the University of Jammu and approved by AICTE. Admissions 2025

Undergraduate Programs:
MIET offers B.Tech programs in Computer Science, Cyber Security, AI & ML, Civil, Electrical, and Electronics & Communication.

Eligibility:
Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 (40% for reserved categories) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Admission is based on JEE Main, JKCET, or the MIET Entrance Test (MET).

Postgraduate Programs:
M.Tech in Computer Science requires a B.Tech degree with at least 50% marks. Admissions are through GATE or MET.
MBA admissions are open to graduates from any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Selection is based on CAT, MAT, CMAT, or MET followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
MCA requires a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks in a relevant discipline. Admissions are via JUET or MET.

Applicants must be domicile residents of Jammu and Kashmir.
