Graphic Era University offers admissions across UG, PG, and Ph.D. programs. The process is merit-based, entrance-exam based, or a combination depending on the course. Below is a stepwise guide.

Step 1: Check Eligibility

Undergraduate Programs (UG)

• B.Tech / B.E. – 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM); minimum 50–60% aggregate.

• BBA / B.Com / BCA / B.Sc / BA – 10+2 in relevant stream; minimum 50–60% aggregate.

• BA LLB / BBA LLB – 10+2 with minimum 50–55% aggregate; CLAT score preferred.

Postgraduate Programs (PG)

• M.Tech / M.E. – Bachelor’s in relevant engineering discipline; minimum 55% aggregate.

• MBA / PGDM / MHA / MPH – Graduation in any discipline; minimum 50% aggregate.

• M.Sc / MA / M.Pharm / M.Des / MFA – Graduation in relevant discipline; minimum 50–55% aggregate.

• LL.M – LLB degree; minimum 50% aggregate.

Doctoral Programs (Ph.D.)

• Master’s degree in relevant discipline; minimum 55% aggregate.

• UGC-NET / GATE / JRF qualified candidates may get exemption from entrance test.

Step 2: Choose Program & Entrance Exam

Entrance Options for UG Programs:

• JEE Main – Accepted for B.Tech / B.E. programs.

• GEU-UET (University Entrance Test) – For candidates not appearing in JEE Main.

• CLAT – Preferred for Law programs (BA LLB / BBA LLB).

Entrance Options for PG Programs:

• GATE – Preferred for M.Tech programs (may affect scholarships).

• CAT / MAT / XAT / CMAT / GMAT – For MBA / Management programs.

• GEU-PGET (Postgraduate Entrance Test) – For M.Tech, M.Sc, MA, M.Pharm, and other PG programs.

Entrance for Ph.D. Programs:

• GEU-PhD Entrance Test or exemption for UGC-NET / GATE qualified candidates.

Step 3: Apply Online / Offline

1. Visit the Graphic Era University admissions portal.

2. Select the program of interest (UG / PG / Ph.D.).

3. Fill in personal details, academic qualifications, and preferred program.

4. Upload documents:

   • Class 10 and 12 marksheets

   • Graduation/Postgrad marksheets (for PG)

   • Passport size photo

   • Entrance exam scorecards (if applicable)

   • Category certificate (if applicable)

5. Pay the application fee online.

Step 4: Entrance Exam / Merit Evaluation

• If applicable, appear for GEU-UET / GEU-PGET / GEU-PhD Entrance Test.

• University evaluates Class 12 marks for UG or Graduation marks for PG programs for merit-based admission.

• For programs accepting national exams, submit JEE Main, GATE, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, CLAT scores.

Step 5: Shortlisting & Interview

• University prepares shortlist of candidates based on merit / entrance exam scores.

• Some programs may require a personal interview / counseling session (especially MBA, M.Tech, Law, and Psychology).

• For Ph.D., there is usually a written test + interview.

Step 6: Admission Offer

• Selected candidates receive an admission offer letter from Graphic Era University.

• The offer includes program details, fee structure, and reporting instructions.

Step 7: Fee Payment & Enrollment

1. Accept the admission offer.

2. Pay the first-year tuition fee and other applicable charges.

3. Complete document verification:

   • Original marksheets / certificates

   • Identity proof (Aadhar / Passport)

   • Passport-size photographs

4. Complete enrollment and registration for the semester.

Step 8: Commencement of Classes

• Attend orientation program for new students.

• Start regular classes, lab sessions, and practicals as per the academic calendar.

Step 9: Scholarships & Financial Aid (Optional)

• GEU offers merit-based scholarships, exam-based scholarships, and need-based financial aid.

• Scholarships may depend on:
