Established in 1965, Hem Chandra Dev Goswami (HCDG) College is a renowned institution located in Nitaipukhuri, Sivasagar district, Assam. Affiliated with Dibrugarh University and recognized by the University Grants Commission under sections 2(f) and 12(b), the college has been a beacon of higher education in the region. It received permanent affiliation from the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council in 2003.
