Hemo Prova Borbora Girls' College, Golaghat

Established in 1969, Hemo Prova Borbora Girls’ College (HPBGC) is the premier institution for women's higher education in Golaghat District, Assam. Founded with a generous donation from Late Alok Chandra Borbora in memory of his mother, Hemo Prova Borbora, the college aims to foster the advancement of higher education among females in rural areas.

Affiliation and Accreditation

HPBGC is permanently affiliated with Dibrugarh University and recognized under UGC provisions. The college has been re-accredited with an 'A' Grade (3.20 CGPA) by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 2022.
