Established in 1969, Hemo Prova Borbora Girls’ College (HPBGC) is the premier institution for women's higher education in Golaghat District, Assam. Founded with a generous donation from Late Alok Chandra Borbora in memory of his mother, Hemo Prova Borbora, the college aims to foster the advancement of higher education among females in rural areas.
