IISER Kolkata Admission

IISER Kolkata admission 2024 candidates can submit the online application form through the admission portal on the institute website. The admission is only through 3 channels i.e KVPY, JEE- Mains, and SCB. After processing the application form, the students are short-listed and called for an interview.

IISER Kolkata Eligibility Criteria

IISER Kolkata's eligibility criteria depend on the type of course chosen. The following is a list of some of the courses provided by the institute, along with their qualifying requirements:

BS-MS Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should have completed 10+2 from a recognized board.

MS Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should be a BE or B.Tech graduate.

IISER Kolkata aims to integrate education and research. The IISER placement cell provides the necessary training to its students. IISER Kolkata Scholarship

IISER Kolkata students who have enrolled for the i-PhD program will get an amount of INR 16,000 per month for the 1st two years if the CGPA does not fall below 6.0. The BS-MS students can avail of the INSPIRE or KVPY financial aid if they are eligible. The students can also avail themselves of the scholarships provided by the state and central government. MHRD also provides scholarships to students from various countries.
