Admissions 2025

Undergraduate Programs

IIT Mandi offers B.Tech programs in disciplines such as Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Data Science, and more. Admissions are based on JEE Advanced scores, followed by JoSAA counseling.

Postgraduate Programs

The institute offers M.Tech programs through the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP). Candidates must have a valid GATE score, with some exemptions applicable.

MBA Program

IIT Mandi's School of Management offers an MBA program with specializations in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. Admissions are based on CAT scores, followed by a Personal Interview.

Eligibility Criteria

• Undergraduate (B.Tech): Candidates must have qualified JEE Advanced and must meet the age and subject requirements as specified by JoSAA.

• Postgraduate (M.Tech): A valid GATE score is required. Candidates must meet the specific eligibility criteria for each specialization.

• MBA: A valid CAT score is mandatory. Candidates should meet the age and academic requirements as per the institute's guidelines.

IIT Mandi has a robust placement record. In 2023, 207 out of 255 B.Tech students were placed, with 75 Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs). The highest salary package offered was INR 60 LPA, and the average package for B.Tech CSE was INR 34.46 LPA.
