Library:IIT Mandi library has over 41,868 books and access to over 50000 e-journals. It also has audiovisual items, including CDs and DVDs. The Koha Lms is used to automate library activities.

AMRC:The Advanced Materials Research Centre (AMRC) is a multidisciplinary hub for research facilities with the mission of fostering basic and applied research in new material synthesis, processing, structural, microstructural, thermal, optical, and electrical characteristics at various length scales. Materials-focused research is represented by the AMRC, which includes academics from physics, chemistry, biology, and engineering disciplines.

NKN: NKN (National Knowledge Network) is an electronic classroom. It is utilised to construct country-wide virtual classrooms by digitally connecting all national universities, colleges, and research institutions.

Workshop:The central workshop is well-equipped with fast prototyping machines, traditional machining, welding, and foundry equipment. It responds to the needs of undergraduate labs, projects, and diverse research activities.

Computing: The Indian Institute of Technology Mandi infrastructure has a high-performance computing centre with 39 nodes based on Intel Xeon processors with 404 CPU cores, 1.3 TB of memory, and 63 TB of storage.

Classrooms:Four advanced interactive virtual classrooms are available at IIT Mandi.

Labs:Electrical and electronics laboratories, Mechanical Design labs, Thermo-fluids labs, Physics labs, BioX, Nanotechnology, Photoresist labs, Chemistry labs, and Computer Sciences labs are designed to meet the curriculum requirements. Instruments are available in all labs, which can be used for both teaching and research.

Medical: IIT Mandi has a medical section with female and male doctors, staff nurses, and pharmacists. An ambulance is also available 24x7 at the medical unit. Mandi town has several governments and private hospitals that provide modern treatment.

Hostel:IIT Mandi hostel offers accommodation facilities for boys and girls. Various girls and boys hostels house undergraduate, postgraduate, and research researchers. There are faculty and staff quarters. All faculty members have access to faculty quarters. Visitors can also stay in studio apartments and guest houses. The campus has a residential facility for students, instructors, employees, and guests. 

Banks and ATMs: There are two banks with ATMs (State Bank of India and Punjab National Bank).

Food:In-campus food options include two central mess halls in the South campus and two central mess halls in North Campus (for hot meals all year), a bakery, a canteen, and two cafeterias on the main campus.

Day Care Facilities:Students, educators, and staff have access to a daycare facility. There are two daycares on campus: one on the South Campus and one on the North Campus.

Sports:Basketball, cricket, volleyball, soccer, hockey, football, badminton, tennis, table tennis, and cycling are just a handful of the sports played on campus. Hiking and trekking are two activities that are encouraged with supervision.

Other IIT Mandi Facilities:Gym, aerobics, and yoga sessions are also available on the main campus. Provision, grocery, and stationery stores are open on the South Campus, while a provision and grocery store are open on the North Campus.
