About the Dean

Dr Amit Adlakha is a Professor in the School of Management at IMS Unison University, Dehradun, with more than 25 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. He is an alumnus of IIM Kashipur and holds a PhD, Executive MBA, MBA, MSc in Mathematics, and is UGC NET qualified.

He has published over 40 research papers in reputed national and international journals indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, ABDC, CABS, ProQuest, and UGC Care. His research work has received recognition at leading academic forums, and he has been awarded multiple honours including Teacher of the Year 2022 by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand and the Education Leadership Award at the Dewang Mehta National Education Awards.


Training and Placement Registration

All students seeking internships or placements through the University must register with the Training and Placement Department. Registration is mandatory to participate in any on-campus or off-campus placement activity facilitated by the University.

Registration or submission of the form does not guarantee placement. The Placement Committee reviews applications and prepares a list of eligible students based on academic and conduct-related criteria. Students are required to use their official iuu.ac email IDs during the registration and placement process.

Training and placement assistance is a service provided by the University and not an inherent right of the student.

Step 1 Gap Identification and Skill Development

Step 2 Grooming and Etiquette Training

Students undergo training in personal grooming, professional attire, workplace etiquette, verbal and non-verbal communication, telephone etiquette, and email writing to meet contemporary corporate standards.

After the first year, MBA students undertake an eight to ten week summer internship. BBA, BA, and BBA LLB students complete mandatory internships as per curriculum requirements.
