ISM - International School of Management

The International School of Management (ISM) Patna stands as a beacon of excellence in management education in Bihar. Established in 2011 and inaugurated by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, ISM is the state's first private initiative dedicated to fostering leadership and entrepreneurship.

ISM offers a two-year full-time Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), equivalent to an MBA, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The program is meticulously designed to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of business functions and their interrelationships, preparing them for leadership roles in the corporate world.

PGDM Program

ISM's PGDM program spans six trimesters over two years, incorporating a summer internship to provide practical industry exposure. In the first year, students delve into core subjects such as Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Strategy. The second year offers specializations in areas like Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, and IT Management, allowing students to tailor their education to their career aspirations.

ISM Patna has a stellar placement record, with a 100% placement rate in recent years. The highest package offered during the 2023 placements was INR 18.5 LPA, up from INR 12 LPA in 2022. The average package stood at INR 6 LPA, with over 70 recruiters participating in the placement drive.
