The institution was found by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Tarbes in the year 1966 and the institution is affiliated to Bangalore Central University. From its inception, the institution focused on the central commitment to provide a comprehensive and balanced education in Science, Arts, and Commerce which resulted in molding intellectually enlightened, morally upright, spiritually oriented and socially committed young persons.
