Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya

​Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya (KAV), established in 2017, is a state-recognized private university located in Nasatra, Bajali district, Assam. Founded by the Krishnaguru Foundation, the university integrates modern education with spiritual values, aiming to uplift rural and underprivileged communities through holistic learning.

Academic Programs

KAV offers a diverse range of academic programs:

• Undergraduate Degrees: B.A., B.Sc., B.Com.

• Postgraduate Degrees: M.A. in Assamese, Education, Political Science, and Philosophy.

• Professional Courses: B.Sc. Nursing, Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), and Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM).

• Doctoral Programs: Ph.D. programs across various disciplines, with admissions through the KAV-RET (Research Entrance Test). ​

The university also offers diploma and certificate courses in skill development areas like plumbing, electrician, fitter, and welding.

Accreditations and Approvals

KAV is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956, and is authorized to award degrees under Section 22 of the same act. ​
