Arutchelvar Padmabhushan Dr. N. Mahalingam established the Kumaraguru Institute of Agriculture in 2014, sponsored by the Sakthi Foundation. It is situated on the Bhavani-Athani-Sathy State Highway, Nachimuthupuram, Sakthi Nagar, Erode, on 131 acres of farmland. The main goal of the college is to bring agricultural education to the minds of rural young people.

The institution's main objective is to combine agriculture and technology to increase the production of foodstuffs, implement scientific and revolutionary agricultural methods, and make agriculture viable and self-supporting. KIA Admissions provide students with innovative advanced agricultural education with the assistance of talented and experienced faculty.KIA Admission is merit-based.

B.Sc Program

BSc Agriculture is a degree course primarily focused on agricultural science. It covers up the entire scientific research parameters and implementations of the same in the agricultural and industrial fields. The length of the Agriculture BSc course is four years. The course focuses on the entire agriculture and contemporary technical implementation from a broader perspective. Various jobs are available after BSc Agriculture jobs are in the banking sector as Agriculture Specialist Officer, Post of Field Assistant in pesticides and fertilizer cooperation, spices board in Krishi Vigyan Kendra, etc.

Candidates must have registered online on the TNAU admission website and should have obtained a Rank.

• The admission process will be through the single window system of TNAU.
• Sixty-five percent of students will be admitted through TNAU, and the remaining 35 percent will be admitted by the management adopting the TNAU eligibility norms.

• Separate hostels are available for boys and girls.
