Infrastructure Facilities at Manav Bharti University, [MBU] Solan:

Campus:

• MBU has large Academic Blocks with fully furnished classrooms with the latest types of equipment.
• The block comprises of classrooms, lecture halls, seminar halls facilitated by sound amplifying systems.
• There are seven large blocks comprising of six stories each for Academics, Workshops, Library & Administration.

Wi-Fi Campus:

• The University provides wi-fi internet connectivity to the entire campus.
• Students can enhance their learning and computer skills by using their laptops for research, making notes, submissions and presentations.

Sports Area:

• MBU encourages competitive sports in and off the campus by organizing outdoor training and picnics frequently.
• The University has both indoor and outdoor sports facilities.
• MBU has in-door sport facilities like carom, Table Tennis, Chess, volleyball, basketball, badminton, lawn tennis, etc.

Class Room:

• MBU provides classrooms that are well lit and has a good ventilation system.
• The classroom also has remote controlled LCD multi-media projectors, Public Address System, collar and cordless microphones, computer systems and RFID system for identity cards.
• The University also plans on introducing Biometric attendance system all over the campus.

Auditorium:

• The University has an air-cooled auditorium under construction.
• The auditorium is set to accommodate 300 students to conduct Guest Lectures, Seminars, Workshops, Screening of training Films with synchronized LCDs, sound system and internet.

Library:

• MBU has a library with ample space, well ventilated and well illuminated which has more than 20,000 titles pertaining to various subjects.
• The University also has subscriptions to various national and international Journals.
• The library also has access for reference to the latest publications of the research material and information through 150 computers connected to the World Wide Web.

Transport:

• The University has a network of transport which comprises of buses which cover all nearby areas and towns lying within the radius of 50km.
• It is arranged for the convenience of our students and staff members residing outside the campus.
• The University ensures personal safety, travel reliability and punctuality of the students and faculty in the campus.

Uninterrupted Power Supply:

• Load shedding and power failure have become a problem.
• The University has provided a dedicated HT power supply, generator backup, and 30 KVA UPS, especially in computer labs to overcome these problems.

Health and Medical Care:

• MBU has provided an in-house Health Centre which is available to all the staff and students.
• The center has arranged lectures and seminars on health, lifestyle yoga, and meditation.
• University has also dedicated ambulance/van for emergency cases within the campus.
