For M.Sc, Candidates must have a B.Sc.(Ag.)Hons./ B.Sc.(Hons)Ag./ B.Sc.(Hort.) Degree from any ICAR-recognized Institution/University with minimum CGPA. Candidates with B.Sc. (Hort.) are eligible for admission in all M.Sc.(Ag.) Program. (except Agronomy & Livestock Production & Management). However, they have to complete the deficiency courses as decided by the concerned department.

• For admission into M. A /M.Sc/M.Com/ M.Ed, candidates must have passed three-year Degree Course with Honours/Major with 50% (45% for SC/ST categories) marks and for General stream students of Arts, Commerce and Science with 55% (50% for SC/ST categories) in the concerned subject.
• For admission to the LLM course, candidates must have an LLB degree with 55% (50% for SC/ST categories) of marks under the 10+2+3 pattern or Five years integrated course under the 10+2+5 pattern
