NERIST Itanagar

NERIST is a Deemed-to-be University established in 1984, located in Nirjuli, Arunachal Pradesh, under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

NERIST offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in Engineering, Applied Sciences, Humanities & Social Sciences, and Management Studies.

Admission is through the NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE), which has three modules: NEE-I (for 10+2), NEE-II (for diploma holders), and NEE-III (lateral entry).

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and meet the age criteria: 23 years (General), 26 years (OBC & female), and 28 years (ST/SC/PD) as of July 31, 2024.

Candidates should have a 10+2 (Vocational)/ITI/NERIST Diploma with a minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale.
