Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College is the second oldest medical college in Madhya Pradesh founded in 1955 as Government Medical College Jabalpur. NSCBMC admissions take place through National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for various nursing and paramedical courses. It has a full-service medical hospital on campus which is the main teaching hospital along with the various allied hospital such as pediatric hospital, cancer hospital, a spine injury centre, ART Centre, orthopedic block etc.

The institute is accredited for postgraduate and subspecialty medical education.
