Netes Institute of Pharmaceutical Science

Netes Institute of Pharmaceutical Science (NIPS), established in 2017, is a premier pharmacy institute located in Santipur, Mirza, Kamrup, Assam. As the flagship institution of the NEMCARE Foundation, NIPS is dedicated to redefining pharmacy education in Northeast India. The institute is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and affiliated with Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) and Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS).

Academic Programs

NIPS offers the following programs:​

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm): A 4-year undergraduate program with an intake capacity of 60 students.​

• Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm): A 2-year diploma course, also admitting 60 students per batch.​

The curriculum is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical sciences, preparing them for successful careers in the industry.​

Infrastructure and Facilities

NIPS boasts state-of-the-art infrastructure to support academic and extracurricular activities:

• Laboratories: Spanning over 25,000 sq. ft., the well-equipped labs provide hands-on experience in various pharmacy disciplines .​

• Library: Covering 6,000 sq. ft., the library houses over 13,000 books, 24 journals, and e-journal packages, serving as a knowledge hub for students.

• Hostel Facilities: On-campus accommodations are available for both male and female students, ensuring a comfortable living environment .​

• Cafeteria: "FoodCare," the campus canteen, offers hygienic and wholesome meals to students and staff .​

• IT Infrastructure: Modern IT facilities support the digital learning needs of students.
