Dr BR Ambedkar National Institute of Technology is spread across 154 acres. It is surrounded by greenery and a wide road connecting the different functional zones. There are three different zones in the campus divided: institutional zone, residential zone, and student hostel zone. Various facilities available at the NIT Jalandhar campus are given below.

Dispensary:The dispensary provides treatment for different diseases, first aid to the injured, and arranges different awareness camps like cardiac camp, BMD camp etc. Various national programmes such as pulse polio and immunisation programmes are organised with the help of local health authorities. It is also equipped with a pathological lab to carry out different investigations. In an emergency, the ambulance van is available 24 hours for taking patients to other hospitals for the required treatment.

Bus Transport:The NIT Jalandhar infrastructure provides a bus facility for commuting from the campus to the city. There are two regular buses which buses ply to and fro, every morning and evening.

Guest House:There is one guest house within the campus. The guest house located near the shopping centre has 17 ac suites with a TV, internet facility, and a blower in each room. It provides boarding and lodging facilities for the guests, a homely atmosphere, and good food.

Hostel:The college has ten boys hostels and three girls hostels. NIT Jalandhar hostel is equipped with a reading room, indoor games, washing machines etc. It also provides internet facilities and other facilities like geysers, water purifiers and water coolers.

Post office:The NIT Jalandhar has a post office to cater to the needs of students.  

Shopping:The campus has a shopping centre that caters for the needs of the students and residents. It is located near the residential zone and supplies groceries, provisions and other essential items. A bookshop is situated in the shopping complex that offers the xerox facility.

Banks:The college has two banks, the State Bank of Patiala and Canara Bank.

Canteen:The NIT Jalandhar facilities include a couple of food joints that offer South Indian and North Indian dishes.

Central Seminar Hall:The seminar hall is the venue assigned for all the important events. The seminar hall has hosted many convocations, mega scale events like UTKANSH, tech fests, international conferences, etc.

Gymnasium:The college provides a state of art gymnasium offering the facility for indoor sports such as badminton, table tennis etc.

Student Activity Centre:The modern, fully equipped gym facility, table tennis room, pool table room, yoga room, chess, and carrom room has been set up in the students activity centre (SAC). The infrastructure of the centre promotes health consciousness, maintain fitness and stress-buster in a modern-day stressful life.

Library:The college has a huge and state of the art central library that aims to encourage self-learning and supplement academics. NIT Jalandhar library offers computerised catalogue search services through the Web OPAC. Users can look at the bibliographic records of library holdings- books, proceedings, standards, reports etc. 

Computer Centre:The college has a data centre capabilities 12 Cisco Blade Servers and 20 TB SAN storage catering to the needs of the students such as CREO, Automation Studio, Abaqus FEA, C++, Microsoft Office etc. 150 Nos. 64-bit machines, 50 P V Duo Core and other infrastructures such as printers and scanners constitute the students needs. Two leased line caters for the internet facility of the institute. The campus-wide networking is done with fibre optics (single mode) as the backbone.

Workshop:The Dr BR Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar facilities include a workshop that has eight constituent shops viz, carpentry shop, electrical shop, fitting shop, foundry shop, machine shop, sheet metal shop, smithy shop, welding shop. The workshop also has tools and a cutter grinder.
