Purnea College of Engineering

Purnea College of Engineering (PCE) is a government-run engineering institution established in 2017 by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Bihar. Located in Purnea district, Bihar, the college is affiliated with Bihar Engineering University (BEU), Patna, and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Courses Offered

PCE offers a 4-year Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program with the following specializations:

• Civil Engineering

• Mechanical Engineering

• Electrical Engineering

• Electronics and Communication Engineering

• Computer Science and Engineering

• Mechatronics Engineering

• Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence)

The intake capacity for each specialization is 60 students, except for Mechatronics and AI, which have an intake of 30 students each.

Admission Process

Admission to the B.Tech programs is based on the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) conducted by the BCECE Board. Candidates must appear for the screening and main examinations of BCECE to be eligible for admission.
