Quantum University, Roorkee –  Admission Process 2026 

Quantum University offers admissions for Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), and Doctoral (Ph.D.) programs. Admissions are based on entrance exams, merit, or university-level tests, depending on the program.

Step 1: Check Eligibility

Eligibility varies by program:

Step 2: Fill Application Form

  • Apply online through the university portal or submit an offline application at the admission office.

  • Choose your program and preferred campus (if applicable).

Step 3: Upload Documents

  • Passport-sized photograph and signature

  • Academic transcripts (10th, 12th, graduation marksheets)

  • Entrance exam scorecard (JEE / CAT / MAT / XAT / CMAT / GATE / CLAT / LSAT)

  • ID proof (Aadhar / Passport / Voter ID)

  • Caste / category certificate (if applicable)

  • Sports / extracurricular achievement certificates (if applying for related scholarships)

  • Income certificate (for need-based scholarships)

Step 4: Entrance Test / Merit Evaluation

Depending on the program, admissions may require:

  1. University Entrance Test (QUET) – for B.Tech, BBA, BCA, MCA, and select PG programs

  2. National Entrance Exam Scores – JEE Main, CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, CLAT, LSAT, GATE

  3. Merit-Based Evaluation – for programs where qualifying exam marks are sufficient

  • Candidates are shortlisted based on scores, merit, or rank in the entrance exam.

Step 5: Personal Interaction / Interview

  • Shortlisted candidates may be called for:

    • Personal Interview

    • Group Discussion (for management programs)

    • Document Verification

  • For Ph.D. programs, a research proposal presentation and interview is conducted.

Step 6: Selection & Offer Letter

  • Selected candidates receive an admission offer letter from the university.

  • Admission confirmation is based on acceptance of the offer and fee payment within the stipulated timeline.

Step 7: Fee Payment

  • Pay the tuition and other fees as per program requirements.

  • Options may include semester-wise or annual payment.

  • Scholarships (merit-based, need-based, or special) can be applied during this stage.

Step 8: Enrollment & Orientation

  • Complete enrollment formalities at the university campus.

  • Attend orientation programs, which cover:

    • University policies and code of conduct

    • Introduction to faculty and departments

    • Campus facilities and student clubs

    • Academic calendar and course structure

Step 9: Commencement of Classes

  • Classes begin according to the academic schedule of the program.

  • Students can access academic resources, labs, library, and campus facilities.

Additional Notes

  • Scholarships: Merit, entrance-based, sports, and need-based scholarships can be applied during admission.

  • Reservation / Category Quotas: As per state / central government norms.
