R.A. Podar Institute of Management is a flagship constituent unit of the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Founded in the year 1974 by generous gesture of house of Podar in donating the picturesque premises on J.L.N. Marg, Jaipur. The Institute has travelled 42 glorious years and has always been premier B-School in this part of country.

While staying rooted in the fundamental value-system, RAPIM has evolved along with the changing dynamics of the business environment and the carefully designed curriculum prepares the budding managers for the challenges of tomorrow. RAPIM Courses:

RAPIM prepares potential managers to face challenges and opportunities being posed by the corporate world with a high degree of proficiency and commitment. The curriculum that is often updated has been designed to stimulate the students into creative and innovative initiatives to deliver value and serve the society. The academic curriculum is updated continuously to cater to corporate and societal initiatives.

MBA and MBA Service Management:

The Institute offers day time M.B.A and M.B.A. (Service Management) program and contains 24 core subjects. Students have the option to opt from a stream of electives to specialize in areas of Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management and IT.

MBA Executive Course:

It is a two year program of study, leading to the MBA- Executive Course degree. It is a means of enhancing the professional knowledge and competence of service managers in corporate, government, non-government sector. The course is open to in-service executives and administrators and has proved to be a boon to promising executives looking for career enhancement, both in the private and the public sectors.

PhD:

RAPIM offers Doctoral program. Admission to this program is through MPAT examination conducted by University of Rajasthan. Numbers are seats in this program depend upon the vacant seats under Professors.

RAPIM Eligibility Criteria:

For admission into the institute the candidate has to meet the below mentioned eligibility criteria.

RAPIM Admissions:

Admission to all the courses excluding the PhD program is through Podar Institute Of Management-Management Aptitude Test (PIM-MAT). The selection is made on the basis of merit demonstrated through a most competitive and exhaustive admission procedure including Written Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
